Earth Periodical was a way-ahead-of-its-time iPad publication that graced the little touch screens shortly after the first iPad was released 5 years ago. Earth Periodical was a fully interactive digital magazine showcasing the best of exploration and conservation. It beat Nat geo to the digital magazine world by a couple of years, and was one of the first iPad magazines to really take advantage of the iPad's interactive capabilities that are now standard.
This infographic ran in the magazine's first issue. Sadly Earth Periodical ceased to be after just 3 fantastic issues. But we know the people behind EP have now gone on to bigger, better and even cooler things.
