The inaugural dive and dinner fundraiser in support of Canuck Place will honour Jasper’s life with a Deep Sea Diving Weekend (May 7 and 8 at The Mermaid, Saltery Bay in Powell River. Divers will have the opportunity to meet world-renowned artist Simon Morris, creator of the bronze Mermaid Statue, which has been placed at the bottom of Saltery Bay from 11-4 on May 7 and 9-12 on May 8. All AIR required for diving is free courtesy of Salish Sea Dive.
Following the first dive on May 7 at 6 p.m. there will be a dinner and live auction at The Town Centre Hotel in Powell River, featuring incredible local cuisine, private tables and phenomenal live entertainment!
